Kasakye Zaidi was born into a family of seven children and faced the tragedy of being orphaned at a young age. Raised in deep poverty in a Muslim household, he often carried a hoe instead of a school bag, working in people’s gardens just to earn enough food. Despite his hardships, he shared whatever little he earned with his siblings and other hungry children, understanding their pain firsthand.
