Kasakye Zaidi was born into a family of seven children and faced the tragedy of being orphaned at a young age. Raised in deep poverty in a Muslim household, he often carried a hoe instead of a school bag, working in people’s gardens just to earn enough food. Despite his hardships, he shared whatever little he earned with his siblings and other hungry children, understanding their pain firsthand. In 2003, Kasakye encountered Jesus Christ and discovered that he was no longer truly an orphan—he had a Father in heaven. Though he faced rejection and had little support, he dedicated his life to serving orphans, widows, elders, and vulnerable individuals. Through Christ the King Ministries, he has helped save souls, distributed Bibles to new believers, and ministered to communities even with limited resources. Many worshippers still gather under trees for lack of church buildings, yet Kasakye continues to lay the foundation of hope, turning the struggles of his past into a ministry that transforms lives.
